I prefer noise cancelling headphones

I am autistic and extremely sound sensitive. I’ve found that having this type of technology is somewhat helpful in a cheaper brand of noise-cancelling ear-buds, but not doing enough to mask the everyday noise around me. Should I invest in this pricy product? You don’t have to be autistic to answer, but it helps.
