Sennheiser PXC 450 NoiseGard Active Noise-Canceling Headphones
The Sennheiser PXC 450 headphones are the highest good quality in noise cancellation that I have come across for a lengthy time. Coupled with outstanding sound and a speak through function that makes it possible for you to communicate undisturbed although still wearing the headphones, these headphones are collapsible and very convenient to travel with. Get to your destination without having the usual travel fatigue, refreshed and ready to go.
My primary criteria had been sound qualifty, noise cancelling, and comfort. All 3 had been really crucial and I did not truly want to compromise on any of those categories. The only headphone that excelled at all 3 was the Sennheiser PXC-450.
These headphones have an independent volume control, and a shutoff feature that disables the noise canceling feature. Handy. And lastly, a large round button on the proper earcup will mute the music you are listening to, and permit you to converse commonly with no removing the headphones.

If you like a lot of bass, these headphones may not be for you. However, the bass is undoubtedly there All I required to do was adjust the volume manage on the headphones. I essentially turned the volume on the headphones all the way up and just adjusted the volume on my Ipod. With the volume problem fixed, my concerns about the bass went away.
Product Attributes Outstanding sound thanks to adaptive baffle damping and patented Duofol diaphragm Ideal feasible protection from outside noise (up to 90%) with NoiseGard technology Talk via function makes it possible for you to talk undisturbed whilst wearing headphones Full accessories: soft case, two audio adapters (in-flight entertainment and 6.3mm/1/four”), batteries Audio always works, even in passive mode and without batteries
The sound quality of these Sennheiser PXC 450 headphones are one thing else! I am hearing particulars in songs I have heard dozens or even hundreds of occasions and never ever noticed. Background singers that just before had been lost with all of the other sounds can be heard clearly on these headphones.
The bass response is really excellant, but not boomy…the high finish is smooth and powerful without getting shrill… And they are comfortable for HOURS on end (Despite getting snug I just wore them for 3 hours straight with no discomfort whatsoever). The material that the earpads are created of is very soft and I rapidly forgot I was wearing them on my flight.
The “talk via” button is a wonderful feature and means you can clearly hear cabin crew talking to you without having having to either turn them off (or get rid of them completly).
For the size of these headphones they fold up quite nicely and their case is nonetheless rather modest (and light!).
In the end, as soon as I attempted the 450s, there was really no way I could settle for any of the other headphones I attempted. All of the other headphones had too a lot of flaws and the 450s had been near excellent These are totally the most comfy, greatest created, very best sounding noise-cancelling headphones on the planet.

Question by Ð.R. East-Coast Elite: “Noise-canceling” headphones vs “noise-cancelling” headphones, which spelling do you prefer?
Being an American, I am supposed to use American spelling, but on this 1, I side with the Brits.
I don’t know why we use a single l, it is inconsistent, with each other letter, you double it in this position.
program – programming
bed – bedding
bag – bagging
hence
cancel – cancelling.
And wouldn’t you rather acquire “noise-cancelling headphones” than “noise-canceling headphones”?

Answer by Boy Oh those Brits and their extraneous o’s and l’s.

Answer by Peter C Not true, you only double it when the accent is on the last syllable (when there’s one syllable, that is the last syllable) and only when the last letter is one of a set–I forget the whole set, but includes, l, s, t and a couple more I think. When the accent is not on the last syllable, you don’t double:
if you want to be different/stand out —
- add horns to them
- add a single unicorn horn
- add a couple of animal ears – floppy rabbit ones
- wrap a string of beads/sequins
- use alphabets stickers to write out a cool message/quip or your fav song line
- add crochet/tatted/dried flowers over one ear
any of these catch your imagination/interest ? )
all the very best & have fun
I want a pair of noise-canceling headphones which can drown out some of the sounds while riding on a lawnmower. Listening to a radio is tough on a loud mower, and I would also like to drown out some of the noise. Can anyone give me recommendations?
Thanks.
My boyfriend is a total tech nerd! He loves his gadgets and they are always the best of best. For Valentine’s Day I want to buy him some amazing headphones & I don’t have any idea where to start. He mentioned he wanted noise-reducing or noise-canceling and he wanted them to be large (full-ear coverage) — can someone help me? Cost isn’t a concern, just quality and what website can I find them at?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
