I’ve heard great things about Bose, but I’m wondering if there is anything that will still do a very good job at less cost. I want to add that I want to get them becuase I have autism and am extremely sound sensitive to everyday sounds-most especially crying/shreiking kids and dogs barking. I want to hear from those of you with experience. Thank you.

I want to get my boyfriend noise cancelling headphones because he does music and our anniversary is coming up. I know the Bose brand is good but very expensive. Is there another brand that is just as good but cheaper? If so, what and where to find it? Thanks!
